The RottaNova project is still in development, so changes may be made. All images, video and impressions are meant to give an impression of the homes and the surroundings, as are the texts on this website.
1. Introduction
This privacy statement covers the processing of personal data of visitors to the website www.rottanova.nl of the developer RottaNova Ontwikkeling B.V. (‘we’ or ‘us’). The personal data is collected and processed by one of our partners. For the privacy policy that applies to this, please see: https://account.rottanova.nl/privacy/
We respect the privacy of visitors to our website and handle personal data with care. In doing so, we comply with the applicable privacy laws and regulations. RottaNova Ontwikkeling B.V. does not record special categories of personal data such as race, origin, health or religion. We process personal data on the basis of your consent, to keep you informed about a particular (housing) project, in this case RottaNova.
From all our visitors, we process:
- Cookies
- IP address.
When you visit this website, your IP address and browser information are stored in the server’s log files. This information is used to produce statistics about the website. It cannot be traced back to an individual.
When you enter your email address, it is stored. It will be used to send newsletters and direct mailings with updates from RottaNova Ontwikkeling B.V. about RottaNova. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. We may also contact you directly. We will only ever use your details for the RottaNova project.
2. Sharing personal data with third parties
We may share visitors’ personal data with:
- Partners of RottaNova Ontwikkeling B.V. (for example estate agents)
- Service providers engaged on behalf of RottaNova Ontwikkeling B.V.
- Third parties, including but not limited to regulators, the tax authorities or other bodies, to meet legal obligations.
With third parties that process personal data on our behalf, we sign a data processing agreement to ensure an adequate level of security and confidentiality for our visitors’ personal data.
3. Links to third-party websites
This website may contain links to one or more third-party websites. We are in no way responsible for how these third parties deal with privacy legislation. We advise you to read the privacy statement on these third parties’ websites to find out how they handle personal data.
4. Google Analytics
RottaNova Ontwikkeling B.V. uses Google Analytics. This service gives us insight into how the website is used. This usage data is stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track how the website is used, to compile reports on website activity and to offer other services relating to website activity and internet use. Google may provide this information to third parties if it is required to by law, or where third parties process it on Google’s behalf.
5. Analytical cookies: Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to measure and improve the user experience of our websites. Microsoft Clarity records pseudonymised visit data, such as which operating system and platform visitors use, which time zone they have set, where they are located when they use our website, how much time they spend on pages and which pages they use, and interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and mouse-overs. When data is collected through recordings, Microsoft Clarity automatically hides input in password fields and other privacy-sensitive fields. Microsoft Clarity does not collect completed form fields or personal data. Visitors are given a unique ID, so Microsoft Clarity can recognise returning visitors without using personal data such as an IP address. The last octet of visitors’ IP addresses is set to 0, so your full IP address is never stored. The data is kept for no longer than 1 year. Through the use of Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft may receive, store and use personal data for Microsoft Advertising. You can read more about this, and about their privacy policy, data processing and data protection, in the Microsoft Privacy Statements.
6. Umami
We count visits with Umami, on our own server in the EU, without cookies. To recognise repeat visits for up to a month, Umami uses a code derived from your IP address and browser details. We don’t share this data with third parties or link it to other websites. We don’t ask for permission for this, because it only concerns statistics for this website. If you allow statistics, we also set a cookie with a random code and the campaign you arrived through.
7. Vercel Analytics
We also measure visits with Vercel Analytics, from Vercel, the company that hosts this website. It works without cookies. Vercel recognises a visit by a code derived from your IP address and browser details, which is discarded after 24 hours. We only use this for statistics about this website, and don’t ask for consent for it.
8. Marketing cookies: Meta Pixel
If you allow marketing, we use the Meta Pixel to measure our ads and to be able to show you our ads. Meta also processes this data itself. You can find more information in Meta’s privacy policy.
10. Changes
We reserve the right to change this privacy statement unilaterally. This privacy statement was last updated on 5 November 2026.
11. Contact/questions
If you would like to see the personal information we have collected about you, or want to correct it, please send an email with your request to info@rottanova.nl.
