RottaNova construction in full swing after archaeological phase

Construction of RottaNova is in full swing! After a period of archaeological research, the building site is now a hive of activity. One special find was the medieval lock wall of the Zevenhuizersluis. This natural stone wall was carefully removed from the excavation stone by stone and will later be reused in the design of the public space.

Both tower cranes are now up and work is under way in every part of the excavation. Foundation work has started, and the basement floor will be built in three phases over the coming weeks. A new phase has begun: we are hard at work building the future of this historic place.
