RottaNova enters a visible growth phase

Construction of RottaNova has reached a fine, visible phase. The entire ground floor slab is now complete, an important milestone. Over the past weeks, the construction team prepared and poured the last sections, so building upwards can now really begin. From now on RottaNova will keep rising, and the development will become more and more visible to the area around it.

From basement to street level

After a period of intensive work on the basement structures, the project has now fully reached street level. With the ground floor slab complete, the way is clear for the first floors above ground. A new phase in which RottaNova will literally grow and, step by step, show its future look.

Removing the sheet piling

Removing the temporary sheet piling around the excavation is a careful process that is deliberately given the time it needs. This work is expected to be finished in early 2026, after which the project moves into its next phase.

On to 2026

We are ending the year on a positive note. Construction of RottaNova has reached street level and from now on will rise ever more visibly. On behalf of the whole RottaNova project team, we wish everyone happy holidays and a prosperous New Year! In 2026 we’ll carry on building this special piece of Rotterdam with enthusiasm.
